Blackpool Tramway : Pictures : sign at Starr Gate

Many older signs remain about the system, dating from the times before a corporate image developed— this sign could easily have been from any one of a number of municipal tramways up and down the country. This sign may actually refer to the adjacent road, as it is on a gate leading from the one-way loop at Starr Gate stop onto the pavement
