Metrolink : Pictures : ancillary vehicle at Queens Road depot

In 2000 Metrolink arranged to purchase and ship a number of surplus tramcars from San Francisco's Muni system to Manchester, to alleviate capacity problems. Only one got as far as Manchester—1326 was tested but not found to be suitable for operation on Metrolink and the plan was abandoned. 1326 is seen here at Queens Road depot, stored unused
