To celebrate the Tyne and Wear Metro's 25th birthday, Nexus held an open day at Gosforth depot on 7th August 2005. Entry was free, and visitors had the opportunity to explore the whole of the depot complex. There were also model railway exhibits and family-orientated features such as live entertainment and fairground rides. These pictures were taken during the open day.
