The truncated remains of the original DLR route to Island Gardens station. This single-track viaduct was opened in 1872 as part of the Millwall Dock Extension railway, then horse-drawn. This is the Mudchute end of the viaduct. Since the opening of the Lewisham extension the DLR has run in tunnel from Mudchute, alongside the old viaduct—the new station at Island Gardens can be seen in the distance on the left
