Each bridge on the Metro carries a sign bearing the bridge number and name. The section of line between Kenrick Park and Guns Village was in use as a public footpath (the West Bromwich Parkway) before conversion to a tramway, and the bridges still carry the older, wooden signs indicating the name of the road which crosses the bridge
