Addiscombe stop is on reserved track, between the Addiscombe Road and Bingham Road crossings. The stop partially replaced Addiscombe railway station, which was on a separate branch further to the west along Lower Addiscombe Road. However the stop is closer to the site of Bingham Road (the station was the other side of Bingham Road, on a now-levelled embankment) which closed with the Woodside–Selsdon line in 1983.

There are photos and more information on Bingham Road railway station on Subterranea Britannica's Disused Stations website.
