Castle Square is one of the city centre stops, and is on the section of tram-only street from Fitzalan Square to Cathedral. The stop serves the shopping areas around High Street and Arundel Gate, and is also the stop closest to the Crucible Theatre, well-known as the venue of the World Snooker Championships.
