Nunnery depot is next to the stop at Nunnery Square, which used to be a staff-only halt. The depot is located on former railway land, between the tramway and the Sheffield–Worksop–Cleethorpes railway line. There is a single track connection to the northbound/southbound running lines to the east of the depot (towards Woodbourn Road and Meadowhall) and a double track connection to the northbound/southbound running lines to the west (towards Cricket Inn Road and the city). Road access to the depot is from Woodbourn Road and there is pedestrian access from Nunnery Square tram stop.
