Victoria tram stop is located inside Manchester Victoria main line railway station. There are three platforms here—A, B and C—of which 2 are in use. Platform A was originally used by Bury-bound services, but is now out of use. Island platforms B and C are on the site of the former British Rail Bury line platforms, in the terminal platform section of the station. Passengers must cross the Bury-bound track to get to the Metrolink platforms.

The canopy bears the names of some locations served by this railway company. On the far right is a pedestrian entrance to the station—next to this, just off camera, is where the Metrolink enters the station building

Victoria station, looking across the concourse to where the Metrolink tracks enter the station. The large brick wall was a stipulation of British Rail, who were apparently afraid that one of the Metrolink units might derail and crash into a train; similarly on the exit from the station heading towards Bury, the supports of the Cheetham Hill Road bridge on either side of the Metrolink tracks are encased in concrete lest a tram leave the rails and bring the bridge down
