The Forest is the largest of the Park & Ride site, where trams replaced buses in a long-established operation. The stop has three platforms. The centre track is connected to both running lines in both directions, and can be used to turn back short workings. This will be useful on busy Park & Ride days, for instance in the run-up to Christmas, and for when the city's annual Goose Fair is held on the adjoining open space. The centre platform at The Forest is not used very often, and trams occupying all three platforms is not a common sight. Here service trams for Station Street and Phoenix Park sit in the outer platforms while tram 215 sits in the centre platform on a non-passenger working
